My iPhone connects to the car bluetooth for about five minutes and then disconnects.?

Does anyone know what I can do to prevent this from happening? It never happened before with my Motorola.

1 make sure the phone is actually Paired to the Bluetooth setup AND authorised otherwise the lack of automatic authorisation will cause it to drop after a time.

aslo make sure your car and the iphone have the latest firmware installed.. the same issue affects Samsung phones they MUST be authorised to carry on the connection!

  2. I’ve seen several posts close to this, but I’m having regular disconnect problems(causing quite and issue with my girlfriend). Using new iPhone 3Gs and when it works its great. Best I’ve ever owned. BUt this disconnect is driving me nuts. Happens about once every 5 calls for no apparent reason. Seems to happen at least a few minutes into the call, but other than that, no noticeable pattern is apparent. Not location specific happens at home/work or on the road.

    Help.
